About the Role
We invite applications from motivated and diligent candidates for the position of Pupil-in-Chambers at Darryl, Edward & Co. The successful candidate will undertake rigorous training and work primarily in corporate and commercial matters, gaining hands-on experience and in-depth exposure in a reputable legal practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts and legal documents.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis across diverse areas of law and industries.
- Support lawyers in due diligence exercises and all aspects of corporate transactions.
- Attend meetings, liaise with clients, and participate in the management of ongoing matters under supervision.
- Contribute to team discussions, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning initiatives.
Requirements
- Ability to commence pupillage immediately or on short notice is preferred.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated interest in corporate and commercial law, with commitment to professional growth and development.
Remuneration & Benefits
